These terms apply when you buy from this website. They are written to be read rather than to be impressive.

Who you are buying from

The contract

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If we cannot fulfil it, for example because a batch has sold out between your order and our packing bench, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices

All prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. The price you see is the price you pay for the goods; delivery is shown separately at checkout before you commit.

If a price is listed wrongly through a genuine error, we will contact you before dispatching and you can confirm or cancel. We will not quietly charge you a different amount.

Payment

Cash on delivery is available up to a limit shown at checkout, and not for every PIN code, because a refused cash parcel costs the freight both ways. Where cash on delivery is not offered you will be told why.

What we claim about our saffron

We publish the crocin, safranal and picrocrocin figures for each batch, measured against ISO 3632, and we link the report. Those are measurements of a specific batch and not a promise about every future batch.

Saffron is an agricultural product. Colour, aroma and strength vary between harvests, and the lab figures are how you can see that variation rather than be told it does not exist.

What we do not claim

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and saffron is not sold here as a treatment for anything. If you are pregnant, taking medication, or buying this for someone who is, talk to a doctor rather than to a shop.

Your account and your information

You can buy without creating an account. If you create one, keep the password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under it. How we handle your personal data is set out on the privacy page.

If something goes wrong

Our responsibility is limited to what you paid for the order. That does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, which we cannot and do not try to sign away.

Which law applies

Indian law, and the courts where our registered office sits.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
