Shipping and delivery

Every order is dispatched from our warehouse in Anantnag, Kashmir, weighed and sealed to order. Where you live changes the transit time, never what you pay.

When your order leaves us

Within one working day of your order. Saffron is weighed and sealed to order rather than pulled off a shelf, so we do not promise same day dispatch, but it will not sit longer than a day.

For a cash on delivery order the clock starts when you confirm the order with us, not when you place it, because we do not send a cash parcel that has not been confirmed.

How long it takes to reach you

You will see a delivery estimate at checkout once you enter your PIN code. It is calculated for your specific lane rather than quoted as a national average, and it is deliberately cautious. We would rather quote a slower date and beat it.

Kashmir has weather and it has road closures. When a lane is genuinely affected we will tell you rather than let the tracking page go quiet.

DECISION PENDING. Real transit times per zone arrive with the courier rate card. Until then the delivery charges and estimates shown at checkout are marked as placeholders. See ticket KP-B06.

What delivery costs

The charge is shown at checkout before you pay, and it is included in the total you see. There is no separate handling charge added afterwards.

Tracking

You will get a tracking link by email when the parcel is handed to the courier. If you chose cash on delivery we will also confirm the order with you before it is dispatched, because a parcel that arrives unannounced is a parcel that gets refused.

If nobody is home

Couriers in India normally try three times, then hold the parcel at the nearest hub for a few days before returning it to us. The phone number you give at checkout is the one they will ring, so please give one you actually answer.

Where we deliver

Across India only, at present. We do not ship internationally yet.
